No pass? No app? No problem!

You can now pay for your single ride on RTC transit with your credit/debit card, mobile wallet, or smart watch. Simply tap your card, phone or watch at the validator. Currently, Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay and Google Pay are accepted.

This is the next evolution of RTC’s Tap & GO enhanced fare collection service to make payment as easy and convenient as possible for transit customers. This option is especially attractive to visitors catching an RTC bus who do not need to purchase a paper pass or download an app.

This RTC Tap & GO feature is in addition to the single-ride feature launched in the rideRTC mobile app in June, as well as the cash-to-mobile option available in the rideRTC app since December 2020.
