  • NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
  • RTC will randomly select one winner from entries who meet the rules and eligibility requirements for each individual contest.
  • Winners who do not respond within 24 hours of notification, or are unable to claim their prize, will forfeit their prize to another randomly selected winner.
  • The random drawing of winners contains a game of chance. The odds of winning depend upon the number of participants.
  • There is one entry per person unless otherwise explicitly stated.
  • Previous winners are not exempt from additional/future entry.
  • Rules of Entry & Eligibility Requirements
    • Entrants must reside within Clark County.
    • Entrants must be 18 years or older.
    • Employees of the RTC and their immediate family members (parent, child, sibling & spouse and their respective spouses) are not eligible. 
  • Prizes
    • Digital and/or account-based prizes will be delivered via email.
    • Prizes are non-transferrable. 
    • Prizes can be picked during normal business hours at the RTC Administrative Building, or can be requested to be mailed.

  • Privacy
    • Contact information and data received from participants will not be sold. 
    • Contact information may be used to notify individuals about future community events, survey opportunities or other transportation-related initiatives through the RTC.
  • Limitation of Liability
    • The RTC its respective members, officers, directors, managers, employees, agents, successors and assigns assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any lost, late, stolen, undelivered prizes or entries; (b) any warranty, costs, damage, injury, or any other claims incurred as a result of the usage of a prize by any winner; (c) any technical malfunction, failure,  or interruption of equipment, systems, or networks utilized as a part of this Promotion; (d) any injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person's computer or other property which may directly or indirectly relate to any attempt to participate in the Promotion; or (e) any other loss or damage arising out participating in this Promotion.
  • Releases
    • All participants, as a condition of participating in this Promotion, agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the RTC and its respective members, officers, directors, managers, employees, agents, successors and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses (including, without limitation, loss of revenues), lawsuits, other proceedings, causes of action, liabilities, other costs and expenses  caused in whole or in part by, relates to or arises directly or indirectly out of or is incident to (1) participation in the Promotion, (2) the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize,  or (3) any error in these terms and conditions. 
  • Governing Law and Venue
    • All issues and claims regarding the Promotion shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nevada, excluding its conflict of laws principles.  Any dispute arising under or in connection with this Promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Eighth Judicial District Court, located in Clark County, Nevada.
  • Other Rules
    • Any use of copyrighted materials for which permission has not been explicitly granted constitutes immediate disqualification.
    • Prizes can and may be revoked at any time at RTC’s discretion.
    • There are no prize substitutes.  
    • All winners are solely responsible for any and all taxes and/or fees that may be incurred from receiving a prize from this Promotion.
    • The Promotion is void where prohibited by law.
    • The RTC reserves the right at any time, at its sole discretion, and for any reason to (1) alter any Promotion rules and (2) cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion in whole or in part.
    • By submitting an entry as a part of this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Promotion rules and terms and conditions.

RTC Social Media Policy

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (“RTC”) hereby sets forth the following policy and disclaimers for its use of social media and other online communications.  “Social media” is defined as any web-based platform hosted by a third-party that enable users to participate in social networking. 

RTC considers social media to be an invaluable tool to facilitate communication and transparency with the public. RTC utilizes social media, including, but not limited to, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn to keep Southern Nevadans up-to-date on the latest news about RTC.  YouTube is also used to host recordings of RTC meetings, and RTC’s X feed is intended to keep drivers and transit-passengers informed of travel impacts.

Disclaimer
Communications directed to RTC using a social media channel or page will in no way constitute a legal or official notice or comment to RTC for any purpose unless noted that comments will be part of a public record. RTC cannot attest to the accuracy of all the information provided by third parties or any other linked sites. RTC does not endorse any comments or images posted on RTC’s social media pages and such comments or images do not necessarily represent the views of RTC.

Oversight
RTC monitors its social media accounts and online comments accounts Monday – Sunday from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m., and will respond to inquiries as soon as possible. Please note, responses may be delayed after hours and on holidays. However, all service-related questions or comments that require an immediate response should be directed to RTC customer service at 1-800-228-3911, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Your questions may also be answered by visiting rtcsnv.com.

Code of Conduct
RTC appreciates your comments, ideas, and concerns and encourages respectful discourse. In order to best serve the public, the following code of conduct provides guidelines on how to best interact with RTC’s Social Media pages.  RTC does not discriminate against any viewpoint but reserves the right to remove comments and block individuals that violate this Code of Conduct. Comments that violate the Code of Conduct policy will be removed and not responded to or investigated.  Any threats of violence or illegal activity will be reported to local law enforcement.

RTC considers the following comments unacceptable:

  • Vulgar, offensive, defamatory, or harassing language.
  • Personal attacks or offensive terms that target specific individuals or groups.
  • Comments that incite violence or illegal activity.
  • Comments that promote, endorse, or oppose a service or product, political party, person campaigning for elected office or ballot proposition.
  • Promotion of goods or services. 
  • Comments infringing on copyrighted or trademarked material deemed to be an infringement of intellectual property.

Privacy
RTC’s privacy policies do not apply to RTC’s Social Media channels and pages because those channels and pages are not hosted by RTC. By accessing or using each particular RTC Social Media channel or page, you are accepting the practices described in the hosting platform’s privacy policy.

Enforcement
RTC will monitor all comments received via social media or online comments and its content to ensure there are no violations to the Social Media and Online Communication policy.  Any violations will result in removal of the post, a notification from the RTC of the violation, and whether the violation will result in further action.  Further action can include blocking access to RTC Social Media pages, up to reporting the incident to the local law enforcement for legal action.

Violators (email and social media) will receive a response as follows:
“RTC is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals accessing our services. To uphold this commitment, the organization strictly prohibits the use of extreme/excessive profanity, vulgar language, and threats of violence directed at any RTC staff and/or contractor. You have violated RTC Code of Conduct. Please provide relevant facts pertaining to this incident without the use of language that violates our code of conduct.
