To help spread holiday cheer, the RTC partnered with the Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition to host a community bike ride that delivered toys for families in need. RTC employees and partners collected more than 100 toys that were delivered to the Chet Buchanan Toy Drive.
On Dec. 10, RTC Board Member and North Las Vegas City Councilman, Isaac Barron, led more than 35 community members on a brisk morning bike ride to deliver the donations. The 10-mile roundtrip ride began at the RTC’S Westcliff Transit Center, with cyclists escorting the RTC on the Move bus packed with gifts.
Riders fueled up with hot chocolate prior to their ride, compliments of RTC’s Club Ride team. There was no shortage of holiday spirit, as riders and bikes were decked out in Santa hats, snowflakes, and reindeer antlers – even the Grinch joined in on the fun!
