While the fall weather may still be a bit hot, pumpkin season is in full swing! There are various family friendly pumpkin patches throughout the valley, and if you don’t have transportation – don’t worry, because we’ve got your ride for the whole family. Check out a few of our favorites that made the list this year, and ways to access them via RTC transit.
Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch at Boca Park – 510 S Rampart Blvd., Las Vegas
Halloween Town at Boca Park features more than 30 rides, games, and attractions. This Las Vegas pumpkin patch also has bounce houses, giant slides, pumpkin decorating, and of course, a variety of pumpkins.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 4 – 9:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 11 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Getting There: Take Route 120 (Fort Apache / Rampart) and exit at the stop right in front of the pumpkin patch on Rampart Blvd. and Charleston Blvd.
Gilcrease Orchard – 7800 N. Tenaya Way, Las Vegas
If you are looking for a more traditional experience, head over to Gilcrease Orchard where you can pick your own pumpkins and apples, straight from the source! You can also enjoy their famed hot apple cider donuts and apple cider, available for purchase.
Bring the entire family for a hayride that runs until Oct. 30.
Hours:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Getting There: Take Route 106 (Rancho) and exit at the stop on Buffalo Drive and Farm Road. There is a 20-30 minute walk to the orchard, but the apple cider donuts will be worth it.
Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch – 6555 S. Riley St., Las Vegas
This pumpkin patch is perfect for anyone located in the southwest part of the valley. Seasonal Adventures Pumpkin Patch is located next to IKEA, right off the I-215. You will find tons of pumpkins and a variety of rides to enjoy.
Hours:
Monday – Thursday 3 – 9 p.m.
Friday 3 – 10 p.m.
Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Getting There: Take Route 212 (Sunset) eastbound, get off at stop 6594 at Sunset and Riley, and take a brisk 5-minute walk to get to the pumpkin patch.
