Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the many contributions, diverse cultures, and history of the American Latino community. Across the nation, Latinos continue to advance communities as business owners, veterans, public servants, and so much more!

Did you know?

  • Hispanic Heritage Month was only a week back in 1968?
  • President Ronald Reagan expanded the holiday in 1988 to cover 30 days, from September 15 through October 15.
  • Hispanic Heritage Month was enacted into law on August 17, 1988

All month long, Las Vegas is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with free events that highlight the Hispanic culture. Here are just a few:
