RTC seeks community input for Let’s Go 2050, Southern Nevada’s long-range transportation plan

Take a short survey for a chance to win a $100 Visa gift card

LAS VEGAS – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is seeking input from the community about the vision for all types of transportation in the region for the next 25 years. The plan includes projects like pedestrian and bicycle improvements, enhancements to our transit system, roadway capacity improvements, and highway upgrades.

Through Sunday, March 31, the community is invited to visit the Let’s Go 2050 Virtual Public Meeting page at rtcsnv.com/letsgo2050 to take a short survey. Participants who complete the survey will be entered in a raffle to win one of two $100 Visa gift cards that will be awarded following the close of the survey.

The results of this survey and the input received will be considered when determining what updates are made to the long-range regional transportation plan for the next 25 years. The RTC believes it’s important to accurately reflect the region's needs, as well as the community’s desired vision for the future.

“Participation from residents throughout the region is critically important as we map the vision for the future of transportation throughout Southern Nevada,” said RTC Chief Executive Officer M.J. Maynard. “We want to hear from anyone who walks, rolls, rides transit, or drives in Southern Nevada. We like to know what works and what doesn’t and ensure we plan for a future that reflects our community’s wants and needs, all while keeping pace with growth.”

Participants are invited to provide comments on proposed transportation investments and the draft plan as the process continues throughout the year. The plan will be finalized in December 2024.
