The RTC has launched an all-new blog series, On the Road, which highlights recently completed construction projects on our roadways. The series features the RTC, partner agencies, and our contractors who are working to improve mobility and enhance safety as we continue to fund roadway maintenance and improvement projects.
This week, On the Road, we will be visiting the City of Mesquite, which recently invested more than $2 million in roadway and pedestrian improvements that create safer spaces for pedestrians, transit users, and drivers alike.
“We were extremely grateful for the cooperation with RTC to make these projects possible,” said Travis Anderson, Public Works Director for the City of Mesquite.
The following are just a few of the improvement projects that the City of Mesquite has developed to update roadways that meet the needs of the community.
