North Las Vegas continues to emerge as an e-commerce hotspot with a growing number of high-profile logistics and distribution centers with thousands of employees. And now, those employees can depend on reliable public transportation to get to and from work. In August, the RTC launched Route 220 with convenient and functional stops along the Ann/Tropical corridor.

With an RTC stop practically at its front door is the Northgate Distribution Center at Lamb and Nexus. The 180-acre industrial park is home to the 813,000-square-foot Amazon fulfillment center, Fanatics’ 400,000-square-foot distribution operation, and The Honest Company’s 571,000-square-foot center.

We caught up with Amazon’s General Manager Perry Williams: “This RTC bus route provides Amazon’s employees in the area a priceless resource, and we are elated that we have been able to realize this route for our associates. As we continue to grow, we want to grow with the RTC.”

Amazon associate LaQuan Jones who takes the RTC to work appreciates the convenience and reliability: “Having the bus stop so close to work has helped me be on time and I no longer have to rely on Uber to get to work! It's been great for me.”

In the northeast, Route 220 (Ann/Tropical) travels east-west across the northern end of RTC’s service area, ending in the I-15 North and Speedway industrial/warehousing area. With 76 stops along the way, riders can find nearby attractions like the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Aliante Nature Discovery Park plus restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and more!
