Veteran rides RTC’s Veterans Medical Transportation Network to get COVID-19 vaccine

We are making sure transportation is not a barrier for our military veterans to get to and from COVID-19 vaccination sites. There are a number of RTC services assisting those who have served to get vaccinated, including our Veterans Medical Transportation Network (VMTN). We tag along with U.S. Marines Corps veteran, Steven Dickerson, as he uses this specialized service providing transportation to those who receive medical treatment through the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS).

Local U.S. Armed Forces veterans also qualify for reduced-fare to use our transit system. Part of our service includes the Downtown & Veterans Medical Center Express (DVX) route, providing service to the Veterans Medical Center.
