Check the air in your bicycle tires, grab your helmet, and fill your water bottle, Las Vegas! L’Étape by Tour de France is coming to town May 13-14, 2023!

The world leader in mass participation cycling events, L’Etape Las Vegas, which is affiliated with the legendary Tour de France cycling event, will offer amateur cyclists of all abilities and ages the opportunity to race or ride a stage of the Tour de France in their own backyard.

L’Étape Las Vegas by Tour de France is one of only two planned L’Étape by Tour de France events planned in the U.S. for 2023 and will launch from Las Vegas Ballpark®.

The event will include anywhere from 10- to 75-mile route options, family and kids rides, and a fan fest at Las Vegas Ballpark patterned after the Village Départ, the legendary gathering point for the Tour de France. All routes will depart from Las Vegas Ballpark and head west into Red Rock Canyon for riders opting for the 75-mile distance. Courses have been designed by Tour de France experts and course maps are available online at

Riders will compete for authentic Tour de France jerseys, including the Yellow Jersey for the overall male and female winners, the Green Jersey for the sprint-section winners, and the Polka-Dot Jersey for the King/Queen of the Mountain (KOM/QOM) section winners.

L’Étape Las Vegas is working with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, Las Vegas Ballpark, Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition, and local counties and municipalities to bring this event to Las Vegas. Registration for L’Étape Las Vegas by Tour de France is open at
