(Las Vegas) – The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) announced at its monthly board meeting today that it had received a perfect score, or zero findings, in the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) Triennial Review. This marks the first time in agency history the RTC has received this distinction.
Conducted earlier this year, the Triennial Review consists of a comprehensive evaluation of performance, adherence and compliance to current FTA requirements and policies over a three-year period. The RTC received the official certification of the results last month and shared the findings at its monthly board of commissioners meeting this morning.
“I am very pleased with the outcome of the review, as it demonstrates the RTC’s proactive commitment towards compliance with federal guidelines,” said MJ Maynard, RTC Chief Executive Officer. “These results are a testament of not only the hard work of our team members, but the excellent standards and customer service we as an agency uphold to best serve our community.”
The FTA examines 21 areas over several months, and found the RTC to be in compliance in every sector. The assessment reviewed 2018 through 2020 fiscal years. The complete report can be found here.
