Professional baseball is back and Las Vegas Aviators fans are counting down the days to the Aviators’ April 5 opening day at Las Vegas Ballpark. Tickets are on sale now. The return of the Aviators, a Triple-A team of the Triple-A West league and affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, is especially good news for Las Vegas baseball fans in light of the MLB lockout. Baseball here in Las Vegas is alive and well!
Celebrate the team’s six-day home series as they take on the Reno Aces to what promises to be packed crowds of cheering fans. The best news is you can avoid traffic and parking hassles by taking the RTC to the Downtown Summerlin transit stop directly in front of Las Vegas Ballpark using Route 206 (Charleston) or the Sahara Express (SX).
In addition to the games, and of course selfies with mascots Aviator and Spruce, the Aviators have planned some fun promotional evenings, including $2 Beer Night on April 7 and Post game fireworks on April 8.
April 5-9 games begin at 7:05 p.m., and the game starts at 12:05 p.m. on April 10.
Let’s play ball!
