This week, more than 350 transit marketing and communication professionals descended on Las Vegas for the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Marketing & Communications Workshop. A big THANK YOU to our sponsors, Robertson + Partners, Outfront Media and Vector Media, for making this conference and tour experience possible. Together we were able to meet and learn from fellow transit agencies to explore more effective strategies for communication, community partnerships, social media and more!
The RTC was honored to cohost the event. We worked to create a true Vegas experience, elevating the opening ceremony with the help of Cirque du Soleil cast members who accompanied RTC CEO MJ Maynard and RTC Board Chairman Justin Jones. After a warm welcome, attendees dispersed to breakout sessions to absorb best practices and pro tips from fellow creative minds.
The RTC team worked diligently to show our out-of-town visitors what Las Vegas has to offer! From a tour to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory — on transit, of course — to a downtown Las Vegas RTC Bike Share ride, this conference was one to remember.
