Chinese New Year is this Sunday, January 22. This year is the Year of the Rabbit, the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar. Hop on RTC transit to these local events and celebrations!

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with its red and gold, floral wonderland. Free to the public.

Downtown Summerlin Lunar New Year Parade

Getting there: Route 206 (Charleston)  

Sunday, January 22 at 5 p.m.

Downtown Summerlin is joining the celebration with their 6th annual Lunar New Year parade complete with fan dancers, stilt walkers, an oversized dragon and more! This family-friendly event is free to the public.

DTLV Annual Spring Festival Parade

Getting there: Deuce on the Strip

Saturday, January 28 at 11 a.m.

Head downtown for the 12th annual Las Vegas Spring Festival at the Fremont East Entertainment District. Start your Saturday off with a parade full of eye-opening floats, elaborate costumes, and dragons. This family-friendly event is free to the public.

 

Desert Breeze Spring Festival

Getting there: Route 203 (Spring Mountain/Desert Inn/Lamb)  

Sunday, January 29 at 11 a.m.

Clark County Parks & Recreation is hosting their 2nd annual Spring Festival at Desert Breeze Community center. The one-day Lunar New Year celebration will feature performances, arts & crafts, food trucks and more! This family-friendly event is free to the public.
