The RTC is celebrating 30 years of moving our community forward!
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada began operating fixed route service on December 5, 1992 and this year, we are celebrating 30 years of providing public transit to our Southern Nevada community.
Southern Nevada has grown and so have we! We started small, operating 10 routes, but today we have expanded service around the valley, with more than 1.5 billion trips and 460 million miles!

RTC History
Over the past 30 years, we have introduced our community to exciting services and partnerships to better serve the growing population, including Game Day Express, RTC On-Demand, a new rideRTC mobile app, free onboard Wi-Fi, and more!

Stories
We are community connectors. Whether we are helping a college student get to their last final, helping hardworking medical staff make their opening shift, or simply helping a family visit their loved ones, Southern Nevada has relied on our system to access resources. We will continue to move our community forward.
This would be impossible without the drivers, supervisors, security staff, mechanics, custodians and customer care staff who help keep our system running.
