About the Study
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) Nellis Air Force Base (AFB) Transportation Study aims to address connectivity issues, improve AFB access, and bridge gaps in the multimodal network to create a transportation system that better accommodates the traffic generated by the ongoing growth near the base. The study considers existing and projected increases in traffic delay and congestion, leveraging data from the RTC’s Travel Demand Model, existing traffic data, and the previous Northeast Valley Transportation Network Study.
