National Bike Month
In celebration of National Bike Month in May, the RTC will be out in the community promoting #bikepossible and #biketo. From Bike Repair Clinics to a Family Friendly Community ride, RTC is celebrating all month long. RTC partners, Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition (SNVBC) and Las Vegas Cyclery, will host clinics to teach the community how to ride safely and how to maintain their bicycles in good riding condition.

Friday, May 3: First Friday
Time: 5 – 11 p.m.
Location: Arts District located in Downtown Las Vegas
Celebrate with RTC Bike Share at First Friday at the Arts District in downtown Las Vegas. Come learn how you can enjoy the downtown area using RTC Bike Share. Visit us for fun giveaways, while supplies last.
Saturday, May 4: Bike Repair Clinic
Time: 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Location: The RTC Bike Center inside Bonneville Transit Center. 101 E. Bonneville Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
RTC's partner, Las Vegas Cyclery, will teach basic maintenance skills to keep your bike in safe riding condition. Space is limited to the first 10 participants.

Tabling event to give out helmets, bike maps, and other bicycle safety gear.
May 17 – “Commuting in Vegas” Bike Workshop
Time: 4:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Location: The RTC Bike Center inside Bonneville Transit Center. 101 E. Bonneville Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
Workshop on how to dress, what to pack, safety/traffic laws, and safe routes to bike. One hour presentation followed by 30 minutes Q&A. Limit to 10 participants.
