RTC Transit Developer Information

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is now providing data online to allow for community developers to use. The data provided below is developed by the various departments of the RTC and provided to you free of charge. Please check back from time to time as we are always updating our developer resources to provide you as much information as possible.

Google Transit Data Feed (GTDF)

The GTFS transit feed specification defines a common format for public transportation schedules and associated geographic information. Google Transit Data Feed (Real-Time)

The real-time feed provides up-to-date information about current arrival and departures times.  More information on the real-time feed can be found at https://developers.google.com/transit/gtfs-realtime/guides/trip-updates.  The real-time feed format is based on Protocol Buffers

GIS Data (March 10, 2019)

The RTC GIS department provides RTC bus stop and bus route GIS data in 3 widely used mapping formats, ESRI Geodatabase, ESRI Shapefile, and Google KMZ format.
