Specifications Sub-Committee
The Specification Sub-Committee (SPECS) assists the Executive Advisory Committee in formulation of recommendations to the Regional Transportation Board of Commissioners. SPECS meets the 2nd Wednesday of the odd-numbered months and is a public meeting that will follow a prepared agenda which will be publicly noticed as required by Nevada State Law. This sub-committee focuses on the matters regarding the Uniform Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction Off-Site Improvements and the Uniform Standard Drawings.
Operations Sub-Committee
The Operations Sub-Committee (OPS) assists the Executive Advisory Committee in formulation of recommendations to the Regional Transportation Board of Commissioners. OPS meets the 3rd Tuesday of the odd-numbered months and is a public meeting that will follow a prepared agenda which will be publicly noticed as required by Nevada State Law. This sub-committee focuses on the matters regarding Traffic Management and Roadway Operations, such as signalized traffic control features. Additionally, it will consider recommendations concerning transit operational matters. OPS is the controlling sub-committee for the FAST Operations Management Committee (OMC) and the Cone Management Working Group.
Regional Project Coordination Committee
The Regional Project Coordination Committee (RPCC) was originally established under the title Utility Coordination Committee by the RTC Board of Commissioners on August 8, 1991 for the purpose of coordinating the construction of infrastructure improvements to reduce inconvenience and delays to the traveling public. On January 14, 2016, the RTC Board approved a name change of the Committee to the Regional Project Coordination Committee. This name change is intended to reflect the Committee's focus on all types of infrastructure projects within the public rights-of-way and not just those related to utilities. RPCC meets the 3rd Wednesday of every other month and is a public meeting that will follow a prepared agenda which will be publicly noticed as required by Nevada State Law.
