Freeway Traffic Alerts

Text Message Traffic AlertThe Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) F.A.S.T. division now offers up to the minute alerts and information regarding I-15, 215, and US-95 traffic incident reports to help you plan your trip before you get in your car. Within seconds you can receive alerts via email and text message on your cell phone.

Currently the system supports any e-mail address and the following cell phone providers: AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Nextel, Boost Mobile,T-Mobile and AllTel. Please note that your standard text messaging fee may apply based on your agreement with your mobile cell phone provider.

To subscribe, click on RTC FAST Freeway Traffic Alert and:

  1. Enter your primary e-mail address
  2. Enable wireless cell phone alerts by selecting “Wireless Alerts preferred” under
    secondary E-mail Address
  3. Enter your cell phone number
  4. Select your cell phone provider
  5. Press save

After completing these steps you will receive an e-mail and a text message confirmation alerting you to your subscription to the RTC FAST Freeway Traffic Alert system.
