The Transit app you know and love is being upgraded to Transit Royale, a new subscription service available to all RTC transit riders. Best of all, Transit Royale is free to you!
By unlocking your free Transit Royale subscription, you’ll get access to:
- Trip planning and estimated arrival times at your stop
- Service alerts and notifications on your phone
- Step-by-step directions
Without a Royale subscription, the number of departures in the app for RTC services will be limited to a minimum of the four closest routes.
You do not need to sign up for or create an account to access Royale — all you have to do is press a button in the app to redeem your free subscription. All of the features you’ve used will still be available and enhanced, but now you can help your fellow riders by reporting your experience for a chance to be crowned #1 on your route!
