The RTC’s Freeway and Arterial System of Transportation (FAST) is a high-tech network that keeps traffic flowing smoothly in Southern Nevada. Managed by a team of skilled traffic engineers, technicians, and analysts, FAST oversees over 1,600 traffic signals, 1,100 cameras, 1,600 miles of fiber optic cable, 169 electronic signs, 74 ramp meters, and 650 traffic flow detectors.
