Discounted transit fares and medical transportation available to veterans year-round
(Las Vegas, NV) – In celebration of Veterans Day, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) will offer FREE transit rides to veterans and active military members who show their military or veterans identification card when boarding on Monday, Nov. 11. All routes will operate on regular weekday schedules.
“We are proud to honor our brave military members throughout Southern Nevada with just a small token of our appreciation,” remarked MJ Maynard, RTC CEO. “The RTC and our community cannot thank our active and retired military enough for their dedication to our nation, and we want to recognize them for their service and sacrifice on this special day.”
