World Tourism Day 2019 is September 27, fostering global awareness of tourism’s social, cultural, political and economic value. This year’s host city is New Delhi, India. If you can’t make it there, you can still travel around the world right in Las Vegas. And Vegas’ new on-demand rideshare option, Trip to Strip, makes it easier than ever to go place to place with your friends in style and on your schedule. Here are some ideas for your globetrotting adventure:

  1. Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck. With this view at the Paris Hotel, you can go to Paris without leaving Las Vegas or having to take French lessons.
  2. Venetian Gondola Rides. Chill out on water in the desert as gondoliers navigate you around the Venetian Resort You’ll think you’ve been steered to Venice.
  3. Luxor. Can’t get to those Egyptian pyramids anytime soon? There’s one in Las Vegas. It’s a 30-story pyramid Egyptian-themed resort featuring a 315,000-watt skyward light Guests are transported up the side of the pyramid via “Inclinators” (at a sharp 39-degree angle.
  4. Caesars Palace. It’s Rome on steroids and everyone becomes royalty when they step inside. There’s even a Colosseum but this one’s focused on top-notch entertainers and you won’t have to fight for your seats.
  5. Golden Gate. While it may not be as historic as the Colosseum, the Golden Gate in downtown Las Vegas is the city’s oldest hotel, opened in 1906. It has preserved 10 rooms dating to its opening and those walls have stories. While it doesn’t sit near the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, it has a spectacular view of Vegas’ famed Fremont Street Experience.
