According to Whidbey’s management, they chose the location on Blue Diamond Rd. and Rainbow Blvd. because “it's a terrific area that's growing and in need of a great breakfast place.” With funding from the Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax, the roadways in the area has undergone significant construction and development. However, Whidbey's reassures that “construction isn't a bother” and they're looking forward to when the construction in their shopping area is complete and “all the tenants are up and running!”
