Starting Tuesday, September 3, Pop-Up Produce Stands are back and better than ever, bringing affordable, locally grown, organic fruits and veggies right to the heart of the city. These pop-up markets will be setting up shop at the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC) on the first and second Tuesdays of September, October, and November—so mark your calendars!
Did you know that nearly 12% of folks in Clark County struggle to get enough nutritious food? That’s where these pop-up stands come in! They’re all about making healthy eating easier and more affordable for everyone. Thanks to the Southern Nevada Health District, RTC, Prevail Marketplace, and the Together We Can’s Veggie Buck Truck, these markets are truly making a difference.
When and Where to Get Your Fresh Fix: Head over to the BTC, located at 101 E. Bonneville Ave., on the following dates to stock up on fresh produce:
- Tuesday, September 3
- Tuesday, September 10
- Tuesday, October 1
- Tuesday, October 8
- Tuesday, November 5
- Tuesday, November 12
The stands will be open from noon until 3 p.m., or until they run out of goodies—so get there early!
