The low income community we serve has been disproportionately affected by the pandemic and research shows that our kids might be losing up to half of their learning before the fall (here is some research about the effects of COVID in education). To try to shorten the gap in learning Teach for America (TFA) is implementing a two week Virtual Summer Learning Camp July 13-24. Our goal is to help students relearn and or build new skills in preparation for the upcoming school year. We can help as many as 500 students. Registration is open until July 6th and with your help we can ensure that no kid misses this opportunity. Click here to register elementary, middle school or high school students.
