The RTC has once again teamed up with Comprehensive Cancer Centers to keep you safe during some of the hottest months of the year. The partnership is one of many to help transit riders defeat the heat during its annual Summer Heat campaign.

As temperatures rise, it is important for you to understand the dangers associated with the extreme heat. Comprehensive Cancer Centers is donating sunscreen to protect riders from the effects of the sun’s powerful UV rays. You can pick up free sunscreen at the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC) sales booth during regular business hours. But that’s just one of several things you can do to stay safe. Watch the video below to hear medical advice that will protect you while you’re out and about in Southern Nevada this summer.

Comprehensive Cancer Centers is an award-winning multi-specialty practice that is comprised of medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, breast surgery, pulmonary medicine and clinical research, with various treatment centers and offices throughout Southern Nevada.
