The current state of affairs isn’t easy for anyone. We have been implementing numerous precautions over the past several months to help fixed route and paratransit riders feel safe during the pandemic. Those precautions include disinfecting vehicles nightly, requiring face coverings and other extensive action that is all outlined in our 14-Point Safety Plan. Now, we are teaming up with Opportunity Village (OV) to offer even more comfort and safety during paratransit trips. Opportunity Village staff members are cleaning high-touch areas on paratransit vehicles each time a rider is dropped off or picked up from OV locations.
