Without our spectacular bus drivers, our agency would not be able to deliver on one of our most essential operations – public transportation!

Each month, we highlight a few contracted operators who go above and beyond positively impacting our riders’ experiences. Awardees receive a special recognition during the monthly RTC board meetings. In March 2021, we had the pleasure of recognizing two contractors whose accolades are particularly unique and outstanding.

MV Transportation operator Deborah Travis has been driving RTC coaches for an impressive 27 years. She has received numerous praises from riders and peers alike during her many miles of service.

Watch as Deborah was left speechless upon receiving a surprise visit from RTC Deputy Chief Executive Officer Francis Julien.

Keolis operator Alvin Eston is also being recognized for his heroic actions. One day while on the job, he noticed two young woman in distress being followed by a suspicious man in a van. Alvin pulled over and rescued the girls by ushering them into his bus.

Watch as Alvin was presented with his recognition award.
