The RTC Bike Share program is celebrating its 3rd birthday! We’re celebrating all month long with discounts and specials! 3-day passes will be sold for only $3 in addition to discounts at various downtown places during all of October. The celebration will end with a Halloween themed costume bike ride on October 26.

Check out all of these downtown businesses offering specials for bike share customers for the entire month of October:

To close off the celebration, we’re hosting a Halloween-themed bike ride on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 5 to 8pm. The four-mile long route will start at the RTC administration building and end at ReBar, making a couple of stops at popular downtown destinations along the way.

Over the last three years, pass holders have ridden nearly 193,000 miles, equal to traveling 7.7 times around the earth. The launch of electric bikes in August has also contributed to recent ridership increases with the e-bikes seeing at least three times more ridership than the classic bikes.

Bike Share is a great for first or last mile commutes and to visit many attractions and restaurants in the downtown area. Bike Share has had great success in its first three years with 21 stations and 200 bikes, including electric bikes.
