Whether you are traveling by car, plane, or public transit this holiday weekend, we want to remind you of the potential delays to help you make it to your destination safely and on time.
Drivers looking to avoid traffic congestion and delays should avoid traveling during peak travel days, which are, Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27.
If you’re planning to use public transit over the holiday weekend, please note that RTC transit will operate on a reduced Sunday schedule for all fixed-route transit service on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24 and Saturday schedule on Family Day, Friday, Nov. 25. Riders can plan their trips ahead of time through our free rideRTC app.
For those who have a flight to catch, two hidden community gems provide a $2 bus ride straight to the airport through our park-and-ride service. Customers can park their vehicle at the Centennial Hills Transit Center or the South Strip Transit Terminal and take the Centennial Express (CX) or Route 109 (Maryland Parkway) with direct access to Harry Reid International Airport. Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis at all park-and-ride locations, so make sure to secure your spot!
