For some people, it’s a swipe left or right. For others, it’s a blind date. For Vivian and Eric Edwards, paratransit turned the key of love, bringing these two drivers together.

After meeting on the job, the duo planned a New Year’s Day wedding to make sure they started the new decade off the right way.

But let’s put things in reverse to find out how it all started. Cupid’s arrow didn’t take a detour on the way to the RTC’s facility where each driver works. It was 2018 when the games began, and by games we mean Facebook Messenger games. That’s how Eric and Vivian got to know each other and fell in love. Online games escalated to dates at Texas Station for breakfast and a movie. It wasn’t long before Eric put the gear into overdrive and popped the big question. Vivian didn’t hesitate with her response and the two welcomed 2020 as husband and wife.

One thing the couple says keeps their relationship strong is common interests, including their work as paratransit drivers. The couple enjoys being able to serve those in the community and feel that their shared passion for paratransit services brings them closer together.

The happy couple is enjoying their new life together. Watch the video below to find out what’s next on their direct route to happiness.
