The RTC connects our community! Earlier this week, we helped connect Southern Nevadans to critical resources by partnering with the Nevada Homeless Alliance to host a pop-up resource event at our Bonneville Transit Center in downtown Las Vegas.

This free event provided access to key social services like legal aid, food, clothing, ID restoration, transportation assistance, employment support, and more. Over the course of the three-hour pop-up, more than 330 people took advantage of information and resources to help them take their next steps.

The Bonneville Transit Center, or BTC, is a centrally located transit hub in the heart of Las Vegas, with more than 9,000 boardings every day. The unique location and role of the BTC makes it an ideal site to bring the community together and equip people with resources to help them move forward.

As part of the RTC's ongoing partnership with the Nevada Homeless Alliance, the BTC will host another pop-up resource event in October. In the meantime, if you or someone you know needs help accessing important social services, visit NevadaHomelessAlliance.org to learn more.
