As Labor Day approaches, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) wants to remind everyone to plan for potential traffic and transit changes. If you're driving, especially on I-15 southbound at the state line, expect heavy traffic on Monday, Sept. 2, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Be prepared for delays and plan ahead by visiting SeeingOrangeNV.com for updates. You can also subscribe to the RTC blog for the latest weekly traffic and transit impacts.

If you're using RTC buses, remember that they will run on a Sunday schedule for Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 2. RTC has 39 routes across the community, and you can easily plan your trip or buy bus passes using the free rideRTC app. Tap & GO lets you pay directly from your phone by scanning the barcode when boarding. You can also use your debit or credit card to pay directly on the bus.

Before you head out, be sure to check the Alerts and Detours page for any updates on bus routes or stop closures.

For those traveling to Harry Reid International Airport, RTC offers free parking at the Centennial Hills Transit Center and South Strip Transit Terminal. You can catch the Centennial Express (CX) or Routes 109 and 108 to access the airport.
