United for Infrastructure Week highlights the importance and need for infrastructure policies and federal investments to jumpstart the economy and keep American families and workers safe whether on the road, flying in a plane or drinking water from the tap. The Southwest Regional Council of Carpenters (SRCC) understands that need for quality infrastructure, especially as our region bounces back from the pandemic.
We caught up with Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the SRCC, Frank Hawk, to learn more about how carpenters are involved on roadway infrastructure projects, how the trade has modernized and got a tour of the impressive training facility.
