Veterans, we salute you! To honor veterans and active military service members, we will offer complimentary transit rides, including to and from the annual Veterans Day Parade, on Thursday, Nov. 11.

Those wishing to enjoy a complimentary ride on Veterans Day simply need to present their military or veterans identification card when boarding the transit vehicle. All routes will be operating on a regular weekday schedule.

We’re honored to give back to those who have given so much, and not just on Veteran’s Day, but every day! To say “thank you,” the RTC offers a number of dedicated services for local veterans.

Veterans Reduced Fare Program: Allows U.S. Armed Force veterans residing in Clark County to take advantage of a 50% discount on regular transit fares.

Veterans Medical Transportation Network (VMTN): Offers appointment only, door-to-door transportation for veterans and their dependents to and from medical appointments. Visit the RTC website to register.

Downtown & Veterans Medical Center Express (DVX): Provides direct transit access from the RTC’s downtown Bonneville Transit Center to the front door of the Veterans Medical Center in North Las Vegas. Additional RTC transit routes access other federal medical facilities such as the O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center and various VA primary care clinics.

If you’re a veteran, we thank you and encourage you to take advantage of these programs. Learn more: Services For Veterans – Ways to Travel (rtcsnv.com).
