Honoring our heroes in Southern Nevada

On Monday, Nov. 11, RTC is offering free rides to all veterans and active military members who present their military or veterans identification card when boarding. It's our small way of saying thank you for their service and sacrifice! RTC is proud to honor military members throughout Southern Nevada, and we want to recognize them for their dedication to our nation.

Take a Ride and Join the Parade
Looking for a fun way to celebrate? Hop on board and head to the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Las Vegas! One of the largest parades in the nation, it starts at 10 a.m. and runs until noon, with participants marching along Fourth Street between Gass Avenue and Stewart Avenue. And the parade is just a short walk away from the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC)! Whether you're headed to the parade or just want to enjoy the festivities, you can catch a ride on 15 routes that travel to the BTC at 101 E. Bonneville Ave.

Don’t forget to plan ahead! With so many exciting events happening across the valley, expect some extra travel time due to route delays and bus stop closures. You can check for all the latest detours and updates on our Alerts & Detours page.

Year-Round Veterans Programs
We're not just celebrating veterans on Nov. 11 – we have year-round programs dedicated to helping our veterans and military members stay connected and moving around Southern Nevada. Find out more on our Veterans Services webpage. It's our way of saying “thank you” – and we couldn’t be prouder to honor our local heroes.

RTC Veterans
We're a proud employer of veterans. Hear from a few who've transferred their skills from the armed forces to working at the RTC.
