Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrated from September 15 to October 15, is a vibrant tribute to the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. It’s a time to honor the rich traditions and diverse heritage that have helped shape our country and our community here in Southern Nevada. In fact, Nevada’s Hispanic population has played a significant role in the cultural landscape, from art and music to food and dance.

Here in Las Vegas, there are plenty of ways to get involved and celebrate this important month. Whether you are enjoying a concert, attending a cultural event, or simply learning more about Hispanic heritage, there is something for everyone!

Here are just a few ways to celebrate in our community:

  • 9/15: Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at Craig Ranch Regional Park at 628 W. Craig Road, North Las Vegas

  • 9/20: Hispanic Heritage Short Films at Henderson Water Street Plaza Amphitheater at 240 S. Water Street, Henderson

  • 9/27: Viva La Vida at Melvin Ennis Recreation Center at 3720 E. Carey, Las Vegas

  • 9/28: Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Clark County at Bob Price Recreation Center at 2050 Bonnie Lane, Las Vegas
