Help us make Southern Nevada more walkable

Do you think streets in Southern Nevada are comfortable for pedestrians? Would you like to see improvements like unobstructed, shaded, and well-lit sidewalks, to mention a few? Our planners are working on the Regional Walkability Plan that will serve as a blueprint for a walkable street network that connects all people to community destinations, workplaces, and transit. As always, your feedback is crucial to developing this plan that aims to improve community health, equity, and increase pedestrian comfort and safety.

We’ve made it easy for you to let us know what you think, and did we mention we’re entering participants into drawings to win $100 Visa gift cards? Here’s how you can participate:

  1. Take our 5-minute survey in English and Spanish to share walkability challenges, destinations, and the types of improvements you would like to see.
  2. If you would like to provide additional detail or highlight locations of walkability concerns in your community, visit our interactive public input map.
  3. Register for our February 18 virtual community meeting.

Your input will help us identify priority pedestrian streets and zones, create new street design concepts, develop an action plan for implementation, among other goals.
