The cooler Southern Nevada temperatures could not have come at a better time. This week, you can celebrate two national holidays: Take a Hike Day (Nov. 17) and Get Outdoors Week (Nov. 12-20). Our friends from Get Outdoors Nevada (GON) are here to help you figure out how you can head outside for some fresh air. Better yet, how you can do it on transit!

Since the early 2000s, the organization has been working on encouraging others to discover, experience and connect to our state’s natural wonders and unique landscapes. GON hosts a variety of events that not only get you up and moving outdoors but also benefit our Southern Nevada community. Some of their past events include park and trail cleanups, habitat maintenance days and more!
