October is here, and the RTC is excited to announce our schedule for Biketoberfest!
This month-long event celebrates all things cycling. Biketoberfest features a variety of family-friendly activities from RTC Bike Share’s annual birthday ride to bike repair clinics to a ride with Southern Nevada Bicycle Coalition to appreciate the vibrant murals and art in downtown Las Vegas. If you’re into cycling, this month is for you!

October: Club Ride Commuter Challenge
- Time: October 1 – 31
- Hosted by: Club Ride
- Attention Club Ride Members: Celebrate Biketoberfest by reporting at least one bicycle trip in October, and you could win a $100 gift card. The more you bike, the more chances you have to win!
Friday, October 4: First Friday
- Time: 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
- Hosted by: RTC Bike Share
- Location: Downtown Arts District (1025 S 1st St, Las Vegas, NV 89101)
- Celebrate with RTC Bike Share at First Friday in the Arts District in downtown Las Vegas. Come learn how you can enjoy downtown, the medical district, and the eastside of Las Vegas using RTC Bike Share. Visit us for fun giveaways, while supplies last.
Sunday, October 6 – Learn to Ride Bike Clinic
- Time: 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Hosted by: RTC Bike Share
- Location: The Center (401 S. Maryland Parkway Las Vegas 89101)
- Join RTC Bike Share for our bilingual adult class to learn to ride a bike. All participants will receive a 30-day RTC Bike Share pass, 3 24-hour transit passes, and a free bike helmet! Space is limited to the first 10 participants.
Sunday, October 6 – Bike Maintenance Clinic
- Time: 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Hosted by: Las Vegas Cyclery
- Location: RTC Bike Center (101 E Bonneville Ave, Las Vegas 89101)
- RTC's partner, Las Vegas Cyclery, will teach basic maintenance skills to keep your bike in safe riding condition. Space is limited to the first 10 participants.
Saturday, October 12 – Ride to Remember
- Time: 7:30 a.m.
- Hosted by: 3 Feet for Pete
- Location: Camping World (13175 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas 89044)
- Hop on your bike and pedal your way to Centennial Subaru's “Ride to Remember” event, where cyclists pay tribute to those who've lost their lives on Nevada's roads.
Saturday, October 19 – Bike2Art
- Time: 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- Hosted by: Sothern Nevada Bicycle Coalition
- Location: starting/ending at Government Center (500 S. Grand Central Parkway)
- Family-friendly ride with stops to admire murals in the downtown Arts District. Free Bike Share use for those that need a bike.
Saturday, October 19 – Commuting in Vegas Workshop
- Primary: RTC Bike Center
- Time: 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Location: RTC Bike Center (101 E Bonneville Ave, Las Vegas 89101)
- Workshop discussing tips for commuting by bike in Las Vegas with a spotlight on winter commutes. Space is limited to the first 10 participants.
Thursday, October 24 – RTC Bike Share Light Up Birthday Ride
- Primary: RTC Bike Share
- Time: 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
- Location: The Center (401 S Maryland Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89101)
- Join us to celebrate RTC Bike Share’s 8th anniversary. Limited to 20 riders, 16 and older, using RTC Bike Share.
