Taking RTC transit is easy and convenient, even for first-timers! Whether you’re commuting to work, heading out for a night on the town, or exploring Las Vegas as a visitor, RTC offers reliable transportation to get you where you need to go. Here’s how to get started:

Planning Your Trip

Use the RTC's online Transit Trip Planner by entering your starting point, destination, date, and time. This tool provides detailed directions, including bus routes, schedules, and transfers.

Boarding the Bus

RTC buses stop only at designated locations. Many stops serve multiple routes, so check the bus's front display for the correct route number and direction. Signal the driver to stop by pressing the button near your seat about a block before your destination.

Purchasing Passes

You can buy transit passes through the rideRTC app, which also stores them digitally for easy access. The app helps plan trips, find bus stops, and check schedules. Alternatively, you can purchase passes at select transit centers or onboard buses.

Pass Options Include:

  • 2-Hour Pass: Perfect for short trips.
  • 24-Hour Pass: Unlimited travel for the day.
  • 3-Day Pass: Great for extended stays.
  • 7-Day, 15-Day, or 30-Day Passes: Ideal for regular commuters.
Reduced fares are available for seniors, students, local veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Tips for Riding

  • Payment Options: You can pay for a pass onboard with cash, but bring exact change since operators don’t carry cash to make change. Credit/debit cards and smartphone/smartwatch payments (like Apple Pay and Google Pay) are also accepted for single rides.

Riding RTC is a hassle-free way to get around. Plan ahead, grab your pass, and enjoy the ride!
