Celebrating Pride Month

LGBTQ+ Pride Month is a celebration of many things, with a foundation built on resilience, power, and community. Historically, these annual celebrations stemmed from the Stonewall uprising in 1969. And to this day, we come together to remember a past, embrace a present, and forge a new future for equal rights for all.

The RTC, along with the Las Vegas Clark County Library District, will be at the Henderson Pride Fest this Saturday, June 11 to share information and resources and give out lots of prizes!

The celebration continues all month long with events such as the PRIDE OUTside hike on Sunday at Mount Charleston. A full list of events in the Las Vegas metro area is available at lasvegaspride.org/calendar.

Don’t forget: Transit can also be an option to get to these celebrations! If you’re heading to the Henderson Pride Fest, hop on Routes 115 – Nellis/Stephanie or 212 – Sunset Road to the Galleria Mall. See you there!
