The Clark County School District (CCSD) is in full swing with full time distance education and appreciates the community's commitment to education and willingness to adapt and persevere as we face the challenges of the current school year together. While student success is at the core of everything we do, the safety and health of our employees and students is our foremost priority as we work to reopen our schools. Parents may still register their students online for school at register.ccsd.net.
CCSD understands that parents may have questions about distance education and the District has developed a one-stop website with a Family Guide that has information and guidance for students and their families. The website reconnect.ccsd.net is available in English and Spanish (reconecta.ccsd.net) and provides information on a variety of topics including school meals, technology, health and wellness, access to the District calendar, parent resources and other helpful resources. The Family Guide is located on either website and is available to download in English or Spanish and will be updated regularly.
If/when the Board of School Trustees recommends transitioning to a new educational model, such as hybrid learning or face-to-face instruction, CCSD will provide additional guidance to parents, staff and the community.
Please reach out to your school principal with any questions, concerns, or suggestions as plans develop or email [email protected]. CCSD is confident that 2020-2021 will bring our schools and community together with a bond that is stronger than ever.
