In Clark County, Latinos have the highest rate of COVID-19 infections of any racial or ethnic group at about 32-percent. In response, we are supporting local outreach efforts to address the rapid spike in cases. The “Esta En Tus Manos” (It’s in your hands) campaign encourages Latinos in Southern Nevada to wear face coverings, seek free COVID-19 testing, and find resources to help protect them and their families.

Led by Clark County, the initiative includes grassroots efforts to spread the word while practicing social distancing and a website with ample information on how to stay healthy. If you are showing COVID-19 related symptoms, may have been exposed to someone who is sick, or want to know if you are asymptomatic, there is an online calendar with information on testing sites around the Las Vegas valley.

It is important to note you do not need health insurance to get a test. Many sites are offering free testing. Basic personal information is collected in order to deliver results.
