Meet four-year-old Wendy! As part of the program ‘1000 Books Before Kindergarten,’ she recently selected “Last Stop on Market Street” by Matt De La Peña to read. The story follows a young boy named CJ and his Nana on their journey taking the bus to get to a soup kitchen. The book quickly became a favorite for Wendy and she and her family now regularly take the bus!
