Christopher Cole joined the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) in August 2023 as Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He leads a diverse range of agency departments: Fixed Route Transit, Paratransit, Human Resources, Safety & Security, Technical Equipment, Facilities, Fleet, Transit Amenities, and Customer Care. Cole and his team manage an annual budget exceeding $367 million and uses statistics, analytics, and benchmarks to ensure the agency’s fiduciary responsibility to taxpayers.

With over two decades of public sector operations experience, Cole spent 20 years in Ohio's public transit industry, overseeing system adherence and customer satisfaction. Previously, he served as VP of Transit Operations at Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority/Metro and as COO of Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority. His leadership roles at Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) garnered recognition, including COTA's President Award and Dayton Business Journal Top 25 Movers of 2016.

Cole holds a degree in Organization Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. He is married with three adult children.
