| Up-Charge Fare Adjustment |
The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) is proposing to adjust its premium service up-charge fare. Currently, passengers can purchase an up-charge fare with RTC 24-hour General Market Pass for $1, which is only valid for one trip. The RTC is proposing to adjust the up-charge fare to $2, valid for 24 hours, which maximizes the utilization of the fare. This adjustment has been identified to allow the RTC to continue to provide parity and uniformity throughout the fare structure.
A public hearing regarding the proposed up-charge adjustment will take place at 8:45 a.m., Thursday, October 8, 2009, at the RTC Board of Commissioners’ meeting which will be held at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89106.
