What are the hours of operation for the bus?
A: : The Deuce on the Strip runs 24-hours/day, every day, and stops at most hotels and casinos along the Strip. From 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., the Deuce is scheduled to arrive about every 15 minutes. From 2 a.m. to 7 a.m., the Deuce is scheduled to arrive about every 20 minutes. The Strip & Downtown Express (SDX) runs from 9 a.m. to midnight, every day, and stops at limited hotels and casinos. From 9 a.m. to midnight, the SDX is scheduled to arrive about every 15 minutes. For other route hours, schedules and frequencies, visit the RTC website.
Can I bring my wheelchair on the bus?
A: All RTC transit vehicles are ADA accessible and can accommodate 2-3 wheelchairs depending on space availability.
Is my pass good to ride on all routes?
A: Yes. The Strip & All Access Pass is good on all RTC routes, including the Deuce on the Strip, Strip & Downtown Express (SDX), Westcliff Airport Express (WAX), all other express routes and all RTC residential routes.
What type of passes can be purchased?
A: 2-hour ($6) and 24-hour passes ($8) are available at all Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) along the Strip, rideRTC Smartphone App and on-board the Deuce and Strip & Downtown Express (SDX). The 3-day pass ($20) is only available on Deuce vehicles, online in advance, or at select TVMs.
Why can’t I purchase reduced fares on the Strip?
A: Based on federal regulations, reduced fares are not offered on the Strip & Downtown Express (SDX) and Deuce on the Strip as the fares are already discounted.
How do I get to McCarran International Airport?
A: The Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) provides direct transportation to McCarran Internation Airport Terminals 1 and 3 from Downtown Las Vegas or from Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard (board on eastbound Tropicana, alongside the Tropicana Hotel). The Centennial Express (CX) also provides direct transportation to McCarran Airport Terminal 3 from Downtown Las Vegas. If you are coming from the Stratosphere, the LVH or the Las Vegas Convention Center, board Route 108 southbound, which stops at McCarran Internation Airport Terminal 1. More Information Here
How long does it take to get from the south end of the Strip to downtown?
A: Travel times depend on traffic, time of day and whether you are riding the Deuce or the Strip & Downtown Express (SDX). Travel times range from under 30 minutes on the SDX in the morning hours to nearly an hour on Friday & Saturday evenings on the Deuce.
How do I get to the Premium Outlets?
A: The Strip & Downtown Express (SDX) route serves both the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North and South locations. Additionally, for customers traveling from Tropicana Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard, the Westcliff Airport Express (WAX) services the North Outlets.
How do I get to the world’s largest gift shop?
A: The world’s largest gift shop, Bonanza Gifts Las Vegas, is serviced by the Deuce on the Strip directly on Sahara Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard. Additionally, the Strip & Downtown Express (SDX) stops on Sahara Avenue and Paradise Road, one block east of Las Vegas Blvd.
Where is the Arts District?
A: The Arts District is located along Charleston Boulevard north of the Strip and can be accessed via the Strip & Downtown Express (SDX) or the Deuce on the Strip.
Where is the nearest Walmart?
A: From Las Vegas Boulevard and Tropicana Avenue, board Route 201 eastbound on Tropicana Avenue alongside the Tropicana Hotel. Walmart is located at Tropicana Avenue & McLeod Drive. From Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road, board Route 203 westbound on Spring Mountain Road alongside Fashion Show Mall. Walmart is located at Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard.
How do I get to Chinatown?
A: Chinatown is located on Spring Mountain Road and Valley View Boulevard. From Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road, board Route 203 westbound on Spring Mountain Road alongside Fashion Show Mall.
How do I get to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop?
A: The Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (home of Pawn Stars) is located at 713 South Las Vegas Boulevard, south of Garces Avenue. The Strip and Downtown Express (SDX) and the Deuce on the Strip routes provide service to the Bonneville Transit Center (BTC). From the BTC, the pawn shop is a short three block walk eastbound on Garces Avenue. Additionally, if you board the southbound Deuce at Bay 19 at the BTC, there is a transit stop on Las Vegas Boulevard just south of the pawn shop.
